Dr. Eirini Stergiou is an economist, holding a BSc in Business Administration (2015) from the Department of Business Administration, University of Patras, Greece. She obtained a MSc in Economics (2016) with a focus on Applied Economics and Data Analysis and a PhD in Economics (2020) from the Department of Economics, University of Patras, Greece. During her PhD, she received a grant from the Research Committee of the University of Patras via “C. CARATHEODORI” program. Her research interests lie in the areas of Efficiency and Productivity Analysis and Applied Economics with a particular emphasis on Energy and Environmental Economics and Economics of Sustainable Development. Her work has been published in international peer reviewed academic journals and conferences. She recently worked as a post-doc researcher in the SPILEF project, funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (H.F.R.I.), while she has teaching experience as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Departments of Economics and Chemistry in University of Patras.
