Short CV: Ioannis Pappas was born in Ioannina, Greece in 1982.After graduating the 4th High School of Ioannina, he entered Computer Engineering and Informatics Department at University of Patras, Greece. In 2005 he completed his diploma thesis on the subject: “Bandwidth Broker implementation and testing on the ns environment” and is expected to graduate in 2006. He is a member of the Research Unit 6 of Research Academic Computer Technology Institute (RACTI) and his research interests include high speed data networks, Quality of Service, protocol design, implementation and testing, automatic optimization of network flows, development on the NS-2, MATLAB environment and C/C++, Java, TCL-OTCL programming. He is working on the GN2 project and on the automatic management and restoration of high speed networks.
